Truck Dispatcher(s) needed

Interviewing this week for immediate openings. We are a growing trucking company in need of 1-2 experienced over-the-road dispatcher(s.) Position Requires: - experience (preferred) - Oral and written communication skills - Rate negotiation and closing skills - Basic computer proficiency ie. excel, load boards, email - Ability to work full-time - Being on time, prompt, and prepared on a daily basis General Duties: - Booking freight and developing relationships with brokers and customers - Staying up to date on freight trends - Knowing backhaul/ head-haul markets and the relevant pricing - Soliciting new shippers to gain direct freight - Checking broker creditworthiness to ensure a prompt payment history - Completing new customer set-up packets - Pre-planning your assigned drivers and tacking their daily moves - Inputting rate confirmations into dispatch software Salary is based on experience. The probationary period will go into effect upon hire. The performance will be reviewed on a regular basis.
